About

AI coding agents made two things nearly free: producing code and finding bugs. Submission volume is now unbounded, maintainer attention is fixed and unpaid, and anyone who wants to fund open source can only reward activity, which is now free to fake. The scarce thing is a human deciding what to accept. Slop Cash pays only on that decision.

Contributions. A project puts up a monthly prize pool against its repositories. Contributors, human or agent, ship on GitHub as usual. Only merged pull requests and useful reviews are scored, in public. When a month closes, the project owner has 72 hours to adjust the allocation; a funded project with payments enabled then pays it automatically, and every payout is checked and published with its onchain transaction. Each run can produce a device-signed receipt recording exactly which model did the work.

Security. A project can also run a private security bounty on the same rail. Critical findings that could lose funds are reported through Slop and delivered privately to GitHub's advisory route, never in a public issue, and a human reviewer confirms each one before a fixed amount per finding pays out. The researcher receives 75% and Slop 25%. Built and in production; the first program opens with a project's opt-in.

$SLOP governs Slop Cash's own treasury through Umia decision markets. The product stays tokenless: nobody needs $SLOP to fund a project, contribute, review, report or get paid. Auction proceeds flow to a noncustodial treasury that $SLOP holders direct from day one.

Who we are

Slop Cash is built by elizaOS creator Shaw Walters and Drew Pierson.

  • Drew Pierson, CEO. A decade taking technical platforms to market in crypto and AI infrastructure, including Arweave, Avalanche, Orderly Network and Voyager Digital.
  • Shaw Walters, CTO. Built elizaOS, one of the most widely used open-source AI agent frameworks, and built the core of Slop Cash.

Use of funds and business plan

At close, 20% of proceeds are paired with the 9M $SLOP protocol-owned liquidity allocation to seed a SLOP/USDG pool on Uniswap v4 owned and controlled by the treasury. The remainder is allocated to the noncustodial treasury.

Operations draw a fixed US$35,000 a month from the treasury, enforced by the treasury contract. Anything beyond it needs a decision market.

Category Monthly cost (US$) Details
Staff 25,000 Two founders; no other employees
Infrastructure 3,000 GitHub, Cloudflare, RPC, model inference
Go-to-market 4,000 Content, events, contributor programs
Legal, accounting and administration 3,000

Runway on the monthly draw: about 9 months at the US$400,000 minimum raise, about 23 months at the US$988,000 maximum raise, after the 20% liquidity pairing.

Spending the team expects to propose to holders through decision markets, outside the monthly draw: an independent audit of Slop's payout contracts, which so far have had internal reviews only, and a reserve for private security programs on projects Slop depends on.

Business model: Slop earns fees on payouts and related services once a project turns payments on. The current schedule is published at slop.cash, and changes to it are governed by $SLOP decision markets. Pre-revenue at launch.

Token terms

$SLOP governs Slop Cash's own treasury. Through Umia decision markets it directs treasury management and any spending beyond the monthly disbursement, ecosystem and contributor programs, changes to Slop's own fee schedule, major protocol decisions, and dissolution of the entity. It never governs funds a project commits to its own contributors, individual payout lines, whether a pull request is merged, the score of any contribution, or a maintainer's decision to approve, hold or exclude work. Contributor reputation is separate from the token and cannot be bought or transferred.

Supply is fixed at 100,000,000. There is no inflation, no discretionary minting, no inflationary staking and no automatic per-pull-request emission.

All IP, the operating team and the treasury are held under Slop Cash, S.P., a segregated portfolio that enshrines decision markets as the oversight instrument and delegates treasury authority to the onchain contract rather than the founding team.

The initial split of $SLOP (100,000,000 total, fixed):

Category Amount ($SLOP) Liquidity / vesting
Auction 45,000,000 Fully liquid
Protocol-owned liquidity (Uniswap v4) 9,000,000 Fully liquid, treasury-owned, paired with 20% of proceeds
Treasury 8,000,000 Locked, governed by decision markets
Ecosystem and contributor programs 14,000,000 Locked at TGE, released only through decision-market-approved programs
Contributors 2,000,000 Unlocked at TGE
Team, time-vested 10,000,000 12-month cliff from TGE, with a 25% catch-up, then continuous vesting to month 48 (48 months total)
Team, performance 10,000,000 Price-based unlocks via 30-day TWAP milestones at 2x, 5x, 10x, 20x and 50x of the clearing price; never circulates if milestones aren't met
Launch provider (Umia) 2,000,000 To Umia's treasury. Same schedule as the Team time-vested allocation

No private round took place before the auction. There are no prior token rounds, SAFTs, SAFEs or side agreements, and no pre-existing backers.

Auction dynamics

Umia's Tailored Auction is built on Uniswap's Continuous Clearing Auction: part of the supply for sale is auctioned off in every block. When a bid is placed, it is spread across every block from confirmation to the auction end, and it cannot be withdrawn until the auction finishes.

Each block, incoming demand bids against that block's release: when buyers want more than is emitted, the clearing price ticks up; when they don't, it holds. Earlier bidders therefore pay a lower average price than later entries. The final clearing price is found by demand rather than set at the end. It starts at the US$0.008889 floor and cannot pass the US$0.021961 cap. Once the clearing price reaches the cap, new bids are rejected; bids already at the cap are filled pro rata and unspent money is returned.

Nothing is released during the 2-day early window. Early bids are spread across the public round from its first block, so they take part in every release. The 3-day public round releases about 61% of the supply for sale (27.4M $SLOP) over its first 1.8 days, 29% (13.1M) over the remaining 1.2 days, and the final 10% (4.5M) in the auction's last block.

Early access

The early bid is not a separate presale. It is the first 2 days of one 5-day auction, from block 106,868,933 until the public round opens at block 108,530,471. It is open to three groups.

Open-source contributors. Eligibility is proved privately on your own device through the desktop Umia extension, using zkTLS proofs over your GitHub account; nothing from your accounts is shared or linked to your wallet. Any one of these qualifies:

  • At least one pull request merged into the SlopDotCash organization between 1 July and 30 September 2026
  • Reviews on at least 5 SlopDotCash pull requests opened between 1 July and 30 September 2026
  • At least one pull request merged into elizaOS/eliza between 1 July and 30 September 2026
  • Reviews on at least 5 elizaOS/eliza pull requests opened between 1 July and 30 September 2026
  • At least 5 pull requests merged into other people's public repositories between October 2025 and September 2026

The contribution windows closed on 30 September 2026, before any public announcement, so they cannot be farmed after the fact. Contributor bids share a US$200,000 cap across the whole early window, with at most US$3,000 per wallet.

UMIA holders. Through the Umia Pass, wallets holding at least 1,000 UMIA for 7 days can lock in their allocation. Larger holdings and verified Echo or fomo activity raise how much you can bid.

Whitelisted ecosystem funds and angels. Funds and angels bid directly in the early window. Funds have around US$200,000 of allocations in total, at the same clearing price as every other bidder, with no discount and no side letters.

Umia Pass: Priority Bidding Access

Slop Cash participates in the Umia Pass, a feature of the Umia Platform that provides eligible $UMIA token holders with access to a designated early bidding lane during the Slop Cash token auction as part of its curated track launch with Umia. Wallets satisfying the applicable UMIA holding requirement qualify for Umia Pass access, subject to the auction's eligibility and verification requirements. Participants can also qualify for increased allocation limits based on verified proofs submitted through the Umia Extension.

The Slop Cash team has reserved US$200,000 of its early auction capacity for the Umia Pass lane, of which US$100,000 is a boost pool allocated first come, first served. The relevant eligibility requirements, boosts, bidding window, and allocation mechanics are described below. The Umia Pass does not guarantee any token allocation, preferential purchase price, or investment return. All bids remain subject to the applicable auction rules, including pricing, available capacity, eligibility restrictions, and settlement requirements.

Parameter Slop Cash
Priority bidding period The early bid: from block 106,868,933 until the public round opens at block 108,530,471 (around 16:15 UTC on 5 November to around 15:50 UTC on 7 November 2026). Block numbers control; this page shows the live times.
Minimum $UMIA holdings 1,000 $UMIA, held continuously for 7 days in the bidding wallet
Holding verification Checked when you bid. Balances across wallets do not add up; a dip below the threshold restarts the 7-day clock.
Early lane capacity US$200,000 Umia Pass pool in total, of which US$100,000 is a first-come, first-served boost pool
Base allocation US$250 per qualifying wallet
Boosts +1x for 5,000 $UMIA held 7 days; +5x for 20,000 $UMIA held 7 days; +3x for participation in any Echo sale; +1x for an average fomo hold time above 5 days; +5x above 30 days; +2x for membership of a listed fomo clan
Boost verification Proofs through the Umia Extension (desktop Chrome). No proof is needed for the base allocation.
Maximum allocation 10x, i.e. US$2,500 per wallet
Other early lanes The open-source contributor lane (GitHub proofs, above) and the fund whitelist are separate lanes with their own caps. A wallet that qualifies for more than one lane picks the lane it bids with; a wallet that bids its Pass allocation first can top up later through a verified proof, up to that lane's cap.

Refund rules

Bids cannot be withdrawn once placed. Unspent budgets are refunded at close. If the auction ends below the minimum raise, every bid is refunded in full.

Liquidity at close

20% of auction proceeds are paired with the 9M $SLOP protocol-owned liquidity allocation to seed a SLOP/USDG pool on Uniswap v4. The treasury owns the pool position, so the liquidity stays in place; any change to it requires decision market approval. The remaining proceeds are allocated to the noncustodial treasury under its monthly cap.

Performance reserve

10,000,000 $SLOP, half of the team allocation, is tied directly to the token's performance after launch. Each tranche releases only once its 30-day TWAP threshold, measured against the auction clearing price, is sustained. A tranche whose threshold is never sustained never unlocks.

Price multiple (vs auction clearing price) Released Tokens
2x 20% 2,000,000
5x 20% 2,000,000
10x 20% 2,000,000
20x 20% 2,000,000
50x 20% 2,000,000

The other 10,000,000 is time-locked for at least 12 months, so nothing team-held is transferable in the first year.

Umia Pass disclosures

Umia Pass Priority Lane. Of the 45,000,000 $SLOP Tokens allocated to the public auction, up to US$200,000 of early-bid capacity, including a US$100,000 first-come, first-served boost pool, is designated for allocation through the Umia Pass priority bidding lane during the early bid. This designation forms part of the existing auction allocation and does not increase the Token's total or maximum supply. Any unallocated capacity is treated in accordance with the auction's published release and unused capacity rules.

Umia Pass Early Bidding. During the early bid, participation is restricted to eligible Umia Pass wallets, verified open-source contributor wallets and whitelisted funds and angels. UMIA holding and verified proofs determine the relevant participation eligibility and allocation benefits. This mechanism does not create additional Tokens or alter the Project's total token supply.

Slop Cash Auction — Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about the $SLOP Public Round, Early Bid, SLOP token sale, Umia Pass, USDG bids and Robinhood Chain.

What is the Slop Cash Auction on Umia Finance?

The Slop Cash Auction is a token launch for $SLOP hosted through Umia Finance. It uses a Continuous Clearing Auction (CCA), with bids determining the clearing price over time. The sale takes place on Robinhood Chain and offers 45 million SLOP tokens, or 45% of the fixed supply.

When is the Slop Cash Public Round?

The Slop Cash Public Round opened on November 7, 2026, after the gated Early Bid period, and is scheduled to close on November 10, 2026. Exact phase changes follow onchain block numbers, so the live auction status is more reliable than estimated clock times.

What is Early Bid in the SLOP token auction?

Early Bid was the initial eligibility-gated phase of the Slop Cash token auction, running from November 5 to November 7, 2026. It allowed approved participants to place bids before public access. Early bids participate in token releases during the public auction rather than receiving tokens immediately.

Who was eligible for the Slop Cash Early Bid?

The Early Bid used three access lanes: qualifying Slop Cash and elizaOS contributors verified with the Umia Extension, eligible UMIA holders using Umia Pass, and allowlisted funds or angels. Eligibility, allocation limits and proof requirements differed by lane.

How can I participate in the Public Round and buy $SLOP?

To participate while the Public Round accepts bids, visit the Slop Cash auction on the Umia Finance application, review the sale terms and current status, and use a supported wallet on Robinhood Chain. Bids are denominated in USDG. A bid is an auction commitment, not an instant spot purchase; allocation depends on the clearing mechanism.

What do I need to bid for SLOP on Robinhood Chain?

The sale uses USDG as its bidding currency on Robinhood Chain. Participants generally need a compatible wallet, enough USDG for their intended bid and ETH on that network for transaction fees. Check the auction interface and current network requirements before signing a transaction.

How does the Umia Finance Continuous Clearing Auction work?

Umia Tailored Auctions use Uniswap Continuous Clearing Auction mechanics. Sale tokens are released block by block; participants set a spending budget and a maximum price. Bids can fill across multiple blocks at changing clearing prices, up to the bidder’s limit. Entry timing affects exposure to early price levels but never guarantees allocation or profit.

What is the SLOP auction clearing price?

The clearing price is the onchain price discovered as bids compete for the token supply released during the auction. It can rise as demand builds and remains subject to the configured price ceiling. The live clearing price and final average cost for an individual bid are not necessarily identical.

What are the SLOP token auction floor price and maximum price?

The auction terms specify a starting floor of $0.008889 per SLOP and a maximum price of $0.021961. These are auction parameters, not predictions of the future market price. When demand reaches the price ceiling, additional bids may be restricted and allocations may be prorated.

Is there a minimum raise for the Slop Cash token sale?

Yes. The Slop Cash auction has a $400,000 minimum raise requirement. If the auction does not meet its minimum proceeds threshold, the auction does not graduate and eligible bids become refundable under the sale rules. The threshold was reported as met during the Early Bid phase.

Can I cancel my SLOP bid or get a USDG refund?

A submitted onchain bid cannot simply be withdrawn. If part of a bid is not spent because of the clearing price or allocation rules, the unspent amount is refundable after settlement. If the minimum raise is not met, the auction rules provide for full refunds. Check the current claim and refund instructions on Umia.

When can I claim SLOP tokens after the auction?

SLOP auction allocations are claimable after the auction closes and finalization requirements have been met. The sale schedule targets November 10, 2026, with exact availability controlled by blocks and settlement. Use the auction’s official status and claim interface to confirm when a claim is possible.

Are SLOP tokens locked or vested after the Public Round?

The 45 million SLOP tokens allocated to the auction are designated as fully liquid at token generation, without a buyer vesting schedule or cliff. Other portions of SLOP supply, including team and ecosystem allocations, follow different vesting, locking or governance rules.

What is Umia Pass and how does it relate to Early Bid?

Umia Pass is an early-access lane for qualifying UMIA holders. For the Slop Cash launch, the published criteria required at least 1,000 UMIA held in one wallet continuously for seven days. The base Early Bid allocation was $250, with boosts potentially raising it to $2,500. A Pass is not a free SLOP airdrop.

What is the Umia Extension and zkTLS verification?

The Umia Extension enables privacy-preserving zkTLS proofs for selected early-access criteria, including verified contributions to relevant open-source repositories. Proofs are generated locally so the auction does not need to receive the underlying GitHub credentials or private account information. The extension-based flow is intended for desktop.

How many $SLOP tokens exist and what is the token used for?

Slop Cash has a fixed supply of 100 million SLOP. Of that amount, 45 million are allocated to the auction. The token is designed for governance of the project treasury through decision markets; contributors do not need to hold SLOP simply to submit work or receive eligible contributor payments.

Where can I find Slop Cash and Umia Finance auction documentation?

The project overview and auction are available on app.umia.finance/p/slop-cash and app.umia.finance/p/slop-cash/auction. Umia explains its Tailored Auction mechanism at umia.finance/docs/tailored-auctions, and the Slop Cash project site is slop.cash. Always verify domains and transaction details before interacting with a wallet.

Auction dates and token terms reflect published launch information. Onchain blocks and the current auction state govern participation; review the auction page and Umia auction documentation for updates.
