What is Early Bid on Umia Finance?
Early Bid is an eligibility-gated portion of a Umia Tailored Auction. For the Slop Cash launch it gave eligible participants the option to enter before the Public Round. The bid still uses the same underlying Continuous Clearing Auction mechanism; Early Bid does not promise a special fixed token price.
Slop Cash Early Bid eligibility paths
An eligible Umia Pass holder could access the applicable pass allocation, subject to limits specified by the auction.
Eligible contributors, reviewers and maintainers could establish qualification using the Umia Extension's privacy-preserving zkTLS verification.
Approved funds and angels could take part through the allowlist route set by the auction.
What does zkTLS verification do?
A zkTLS proof is used to demonstrate a qualifying offchain or onchain fact without disclosing the entire source account or underlying data to other participants. The official Umia Extension documentation explains the proof flow and supported checks.
Passing an eligibility check does not guarantee an unlimited allocation. The eligible track can have a per-wallet maximum and an overall budget cap. Umia publicly reported that the Slop community allocation reached its limit during the early phase.
Does an early bid guarantee a better $SLOP price?
No. Earlier entry exposes a bid to more of the initial clearing blocks, which can produce a different average execution price. The actual fill and price still depend on demand, the participant's selected maximum price and the clearing schedule. Each clearing moment uses the same price for participants clearing at that moment.
Can I still use Early Bid?
The advertised Early Bid window was November 5–7, 2026. Once the gated period has ended, the subsequent public round is the relevant window. Always check the current official auction status rather than relying on an outdated eligibility article.
